Research Papers : Synthesis of Lithium Manganese Oxide Particles in Supercritical Water
Abstract
Synthesis of manganese oxide and lithium manganese oxide particles in supercritical water has been studied. Mn(NO3)2·6H2O and LiOH/LiNO3 was selected as the Mn and Li sources, respectively, and LiMn2O4 particles have been synthesized. It was observed that fine particles with a high degree of crystallinity was formed in spite of short residence times (13 ~ 30 seconds). It was also observed that the conversion, particle size and selectivity to a specific oxide were dependent of the reaction conditions of the supercritical water process. It was possible to selectively synthesize the LiMn2O4 particles under a specific condition described in this study.

초록
초임계수 하에서 망간산화물과 리튬망간산화물 입자의 합성에 대하여 조사하였다. 망간과 리튬의 원료로는 Mn(NO3)2·6H2O와 LiOH/LiNO3를 각각 선택하여 LiMn2O4 입자를 합성하였다. 짧은 반응시간(13 ~ 30 sec)에도 불구하고 높은 결정화도를 갖는 입자가 생성됨이 관찰되었다. 초임계수 공정에서는 전환율, 입자크기, 특정 산화물의 선택도는 반응조건에 의존하는 것이 관찰되었다. LiMn2O4 입자의 선택적인 합성은 특정 반응조건에서 가능하였다.
