Abstract

To prepare acrylic type pressure-sensitive adhesive, quarter polymers were synthesized from butylacrylate (BA), 2-ethylhexylacrylate (2-EHA), methylmethacrylate (MMA), 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate (2-HEMA). The quarter polymer was identified by FT-IR and H-NMR. Mole cular weight was measured by Gel Pearmeation Chromatography. Also, viscosity, solid content and peel stength were investigated. The peel strength was 160 gf/25 nm when the volume ratio monomer to solvent was 13:1, and the ratio was relevant to commercial usage. The pot life of adhesive was 30s at the 50 m/min of heat treatment rate, and it indicated that the minimum drying time was 30s. In weathering resistance test, peel strength of 160∼180 gf/25 nm maintained after 1000 h, with no residual remains on the adhesive surface.

초록

4원 아크릴 점착제를 합성하기 위하여 butyl acrylate (이하 BA), 2-ethylhexylacrylate(이하 2-EHA), methyl methacrylate(이하 MMA), 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate(이하 2-HEMA)를 사용하였다. 점착제 구조는 FT-IR, H-HMR로 확인하였고, 분자량 또는 GPC로 측정하였다. 점도, 고형분 그리고 점착력을 조사하였다. 모노머와 용제의 부피비가 1:1.3 일 때 점착력이 160gf/25 nm이며, 가장 범용성이 있었다. 열처리 속도가 50 m/min 이었을 때 가사시간이 30s이었으며, 최소 경화시간이 30s 임을 알았다. 내후성 시험에서 1000h 경과 후에도 점착력이 106∼180 gf/25 nm로 거의 일정하게 유지되었고, 점착 잔유물은 없었다.
