Studies on the Direct Synthesis of Hydrocarbons Through the Hybrid Catalysts of CO2 Hydrogenation and MTO Reaction

Abstract

The methanol synthesis reaction by CO2 hydrogenation and the methanol conversion reaction by MTO reaction were carried out respectively. In CO2 hydrogenation, the catalyst used CuO/ZnO/Al2O3 (6 : 3 : 1 wt%) at 250 ℃ and 50 atm. In MTO reaction, the catalyst used was Mg-La/ZSM5 which was formed by H-ZSM5, ion-exchanged with Mg and La. Using these catalysts, one-stop reaction was performed in 2-bed(1st bed : methanol synthesis catalyst, 2nd bed : methanol conversion catalyst) and 1-bed(single bed : hybrid catalyst) reactor systems. As the result of studies, the product distribution was quantified and the reaction condition to increase the yield of olefin was found. The yield of olefin was higher than paraffin at 2-bed reaction, whereas paraffin was the main product at 1-bed reaction.

초록

CO2 수소화 반응을 통해 메탄올 합성반응을, MTO 반응을 통해 메탄올 전환반응을 수행하였다. CO2 수소화 반응에서 대상촉매는 CuO, ZnO, Al2O3의 질량비가 6 : 3 : 1인 CuO/ZnO/Al2O3였고, 반응조건은 250 ℃, 50 atm이었다. MTO반응에서 대상촉매는 H-ZSM5촉매에 금속 이온교환한 Mg-La/ZSM5였다. 그리고 두 반응을 연계시킨 일괄반응에 대한 연구를 2-bed(1-st bed : methanol synthesis catalyst, 2nd bed : methanol conversion catalyst)와 1-bed(single bed : hybrid catalyst)로 나누어 수행하였다. 그 결과 최종 생성물의 분배양상을 정량화 하였고, 또한 탄화수소 생성물 중 목적 생성물인 올레핀 수율 향상 조건을 알 수 있었다. 2-bed 실험결과 올레핀의 수율이 높았고, 1-bed 반응하에서는 파라린이 주요 생성물이었다.
